This in fact, was released as the cover of Architectural Digest and it became the biggest interior design story in history, with 1.6 billion views in three days. It has never been surpassed. I guess that’s the power of Kylie Jenner in general, or was it the power of my design? Maybe a little bit of both, but I’m going to take it anyway.
The amazing thing for Kylie was that, you know, she was 21 years old, had just created this extraordinary empire with all of her amazing makeup. And so I got to really take the idea of the design becoming part of her brand.
Her dining room, which we’re looking at here, has got chairs that were all custom dyed the leather to match perfectly the shade of her lip kits. The consoles in her living room were designed to look just like the drips in the packaging. So everything kind of referred back to a whole Kylie brand, lifestyle, glamor, beauty and well let’s face it, the power of Keeping Up With The Kardashians
