This year, I had the absolute thrill of guest-editing Sunset Magazine’s Holiday Issue, and let me tell you – we didn’t hold back. Together with floral designer Jeff Leatham and landscape designer Thomas Diehl, we created a holiday wonderland dripping in color, shimmer, and joy. Think layered textures, jewel-toned opulence, and enough sparkle to light up Palm Springs.

Thomas frames the entryway in lush garlands that mix classic greenery with unexpected texture. The doorway becomes a dramatic, welcoming moment – a festive threshold that pulls you straight into the spirit of the season.
Martyn’s table sets the tone for the entire home: rich jewel tones, vintage glassware, textured linens, and festive greenery that feels abundant without being fussy. Every place setting layers pattern, shine, and personality, creating a table meant for long meals and joyful gatherings.
