Martyn Lawrence Bullard was invited to participate in Veranda’s first-ever Virtual Show House, a collaborative design project bringing together leading designers to imagine a cinematic Los Angeles home. Inspired by Tom Ford’s film A Single Man, Bullard designed the primary bedroom and bath, creating a sensual and glamorous retreat layered with Moorish influences, rich textiles, and jewel-toned marble.
Thrilled to share my contribution to Veranda’s first Virtual Show House, a project that invited designers to reinterpret a Hollywood classic through our own lens. My feature is a cinematic primary bedroom and bath inspired by Tom Ford’s A Single Man, a film celebrated for its impeccable art direction, saturated palettes, and exquisitely composed interiors.
From richly patterned walls and carved architectural details to marble clad surfaces and glowing French and Italian inspired lighting, the space is designed to feel immersive and transportive.
