Alessandra Ambrosio/Bohemian Haven

Boho Chic Interior Design: Spanish Colonial Super model Alessandra Ambrosio wanted her Santa Monica home to echo her Brazilian roots and love of boho living

The Mediterranean style house had great bones to allow a more modern and casual look to take precedence as I slowly collected fine mid-century furniture pieces by Brazilian masters and eclectic bohemian-styled fabrics. The photographic art collection I curated for her, from her passions of fashion and music, really gives the home a personality and sensual allure that is such a part of who Alessandra is.

With help from designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio crafts a boho-chic haven in Santa Monica, California, that echoes the sunny delights of her native Brazil

Covering the walls in most rooms are black and white photography by Herb Ritts, Arthur Elgort,Terry O’Neall, Peter Beard, and Ellen Von Unwerth — radiating the client’s career in fashion and her love for her two children.

Filled with pieces from around the world, the array of furnishings from Morocco, India, Turkey, Italian, and Brazil harmoniously create an environment that is eclectic, yet clean and bright.
