The warm Turkish red cabinetry set against my @schumacher1889 Darya ikat fabric covering the walls was always so warm and welcoming ..... old school with a touch of exotic flavor , inspired by the description of Oscar Wilde’s own suite of rooms in London.

A recently completed cozy tv room gets one of my favorite things , an upholstered window seat. This bay window was crying out to become a comfy nook , especially as its enclosed with beautiful aged tree greenery , making it feel like a luxe tree house. I also love to upholster walls tightly in fabric. Becomes the most welcoming and tactile cocoon .... the sofa / daybed makes for the best afternoon naps my client tells me ! ..... #aroomofonesown #personalsanctuary
