Hello old friend ! I’m so happy to be back with you ..... I’m so very blessed to have the Villa Grigio to escape to ( named partially for its pale grey color but mostly for the quantity of Pinot Grigio consumed within its walls ) , waking up to this today has really helped chill me out after a fraught week figuring it all out in LA. I hope everyone out there , where ever you are quarantining , are safe and sound. And for those of us in the US , i hope the relief package put into place this week makes sense and will help you all get through this crazy time. My family in England have all had the virus and been fighting through it this week and thankfully seem to be coming out of it now. Be safe. Stay home. Sending love and prayers to all. 🙏🏻

I love creating interiors that transport you. Here for some special clients in Malibu , California l created a Balinese Pavilion , set up on a cliff above the Pacific Ocean. We shopped in Bali and Java for the house , hand painting and stenciling many of the walls and woodwork. The curtain fabric was specially colored for the space ( from @mlbfabric ) and the fireplace was made from 18 th century Indian temple columns. The sofa is part of my furniture line and was originally designed for @Cher , hence its name , the Cher Sofa. Tatami Matt’s were sewn together with leather banding to create the enormous rug needed to cover this very large room. More than ever now it’s wonderful to have spaces that transport us somewhere else mentally. We get to travel in our own homes a lot more safely than on a plane these days. #fantasyinteriors #personalsanctuary #stayhome #staysafe
